What you will be doing: We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to enhance our organizational culture and drive talent optimization strategies. This strategic role will work closely with leadership and management to align human resource practices with business goals. We need a proactive, independent individual who can deliver tailored HR services and solutions, fostering employee engagement and supporting effective performance management. This hybrid requires two days per week in our Scottsdale office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultural Development: Partner with the leaders to promote and sustain a positive organizational culture, implementing initiatives that optimize talent, structure, and processes.
- HR Services Delivery: Provide HR solutions that address business challenges, including performance management systems and training and development programs.
- Change Management Consultation: Advise and support managers and departments through change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
- Performance Management: Engage with HR, Centers of Excellence, and leadership to executive performance management strategies to optimize performance and development plans.
- Policy and Program Implementation: Collaborate with the HRBP team to create and implement HR policies and programs, support various projects, and facilitate employee relations counseling.
- Coaching and Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with team members and act as a coach to leaders on people management principles.
- Employee Relations: Advisor for complex ER issues, identifying and mitigating risks of employment litigation and providing recommendations and coaching to leaders and colleagues. Ensure full compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Team Effectiveness Improvement: Partner with assigned departments to assess and enhance team effectiveness, motivation, and people management practices.
- Systems Support: Utilize HR data analytics (UKG, WorkTango, Betterworks) to provide strategic insights and inform decision-making related to HR initiatives.

Required Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or a related field, with a bachelor’s degree or preferred equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Strong Excel skills are necessary.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, communication, and people skills, with exemplary listening abilities.
- Confidentiality: Ability to manage sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Employee Relations Knowledge: Strong understanding of employee relations issues and a comprehensive knowledge of employment law.
- Self-Directed: Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Time Management: Excellent time management, detail orientation, project management, and data analysis skills.
- Multi-Tasking Ability: Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and take initiative in ambiguous situations.
- Resilience: Confidence to navigate challenges while maintaining positive relationships, employing techniques to overcome obstacles.
- Strategic and Hands-On: Ability to blend strategic thinking with proactive, hands-on delivery of HR solutions.
- Influence and Engagement: Strong capability to engage and influence others to achieve results.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses, equity, or commissions.
