The role supports the HR Business Partner (HRBP) in aiding stakeholders and leaders in operations and support groups to achieve desired business performance by improving employee experience, employee retention, talent development and compliance to labor laws/standards. The role assists the HRBP in implementing strategic HR initiatives to drive LR compliance, employee retention and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HRBP and other colleagues in assisting employee events and company activities to promote a fun work environment and drive employee engagement.
- Work with the P&C team in achieving department goals through the improvement of employee experience, retention and development.
- Assist HRBP in implementing projects/initiatives in the areas of employee engagement and organizational development.
- Responsible in ensuring compliance of service lines (e.g government and company compliance).
- Collaborate with HRBP to ensure compliance with labor laws, labor standard and established company policies and procedures.
- Knowledgeable in Employee Relation and handling administrative cases.
- Assist the HRBP in the investigation, review of case files and give final recommendation for all administrative cases.
- Provide the necessary assistance, consultation and employee counselling.
- Assist the HRBP in developing and implementing effective & strategic measures to increase employee and organizational effectiveness.
- Other duties as required from time to time
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Resource Management or other management courses
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in employee engagement, employee relations, business partnering or as an HR generalist
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications and other database application programs
- Preferably knowledgeable in Canva or other online graphic design tool
- High drive for results, integrity and initiative
- Good organizational and employee engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects
- Good attention to detail
- Team-player, results-oriented and with excellent facilitation & communications skills, both oral and written
