Job Description
The HR Reward Adviser plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of reward strategies that align with the company’s and business unit goals. The role requires a high degree of motivation, reward know-how and key stakeholder management expertise that can be used effectively to drive forward the Group reward agenda enhancing employee and line manager satisfaction, understanding and performance.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation of reward strategies
- Support the implementation of comprehensive reward plans that are competitive, fair, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
Benchmarking
- Conduct market analysis to ensure our reward packages are competitive within the industry. This includes salary surveys, compensation analysis, and benefit comparisons.
Policy development
- Support the development of policies related to compensation, benefits, incentives, and recognition programs.
Advisory
- Provide expert advice to managers and HR on reward-related matters, including salary reviews, bonus schemes, and incentive programs.
Compliance
- Ensure all reward practices comply with legal regulations and internal policies. Play a lead role in shaping new policy to emerging legislation
Communication
- Develop clear communication materials to explain reward programs to employees, ensuring understanding and engagement.
Data analysis
- Utilise data and analytics to monitor the effectiveness of reward programs and make recommendations for improvements. Being able to automate processes through advanced analytics, (or through use of macros) is advantageous
Project management
- Lead and participate in reward-related projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Partnering with key stakeholders in HR, Corporate teams, and wider Business Unit representatives
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with HRIS systems
- Strong knowledge of reward benchmarking techniques, and compensation principles
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity
- Skilled communicator, comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to leadership
