HR Operations Generalist
Overview of Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This position plays a key role in supporting the operational functions of the HR department, ensuring smooth execution of critical processes, maintaining data integrity, and contributing to employee experience across the lifecycle.
The current countries in scope include US, Canada, Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Brazil.
Main Responsibilities
HR Systems & Workday (WD) Management
· Act as a Workday super user and primary contact for system troubleshooting, fixes, and organizational updates.
· Process terminations and onboarding data in Workday and related benefit systems.
· Manage Workday reporting and ensure monthly reconciliation of employee data.
· Respond to Workday SME requests and ensure accuracy and consistency of information across platforms.
Employee Lifecycle Operations
· Coordinate various onboarding tasks
· Prepare and manage separation and exit agreements, including drafting and processing termination letters.
· Track and manage leavers, conduct system updates, and ensure accurate offboarding procedures.
Compliance & Reporting
· Maintain EEOC reporting and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
· Generate and analyze general census and HR reports to support decision-making and compliance.
· Partner with SMEs to maintain accurate and updated data.
Immigration & Relocation
· Manage end-to-end visa processes for new and existing employees.
· Oversee employee relocation logistics and ensure a smooth transition process.
Payroll & Benefits Support
· Serve as backup for payroll operations and support processing needs as required.
· Manage invoicing and reconciliation for vendors
Programs & Initiatives
· Lead wellness program initiatives, promoting employee health and engagement.
· Maintain and update employee handbooks in alignment with policy changes.
· Support global HR housekeeping needs as required.
Other Responsibilities
· Handle general resourcing activities when needed.
· Assist with background checks and other pre-employment tasks.
Profile
· 3+ years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles.
· Hands-on experience with Workday is essential.
· Familiarity with HR compliance and reporting practices (EEOC, Census, etc.).
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Experience with payroll processes and benefit systems is a plus.
· High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
