Our client is looking for a talented and driven HR Manager. The Human Resource Manager’s primary function is to help with employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and compliance to ensure the company has the proper staffing levels needed to be efficient while complying with all applicable laws. This position includes constantly monitoring the staffing levels so that we are never in a position to be understaffed. The Human Resource Manager must have a dedication to ongoing learning of their craft to ensure we are constantly in compliance with changing employee labor laws. There needs to be a high level of communication and organization for this role.
Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an HR Manager role, preferably in a midsize company.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to achieve exceptional results.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and business acumen, with a track record of driving growth and profitability.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws both at the state and federal level.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists.
- Commitment to safety standards and their continuous improvement.
- Capability to make sound business decisions based on projected planning and scheduling data.
- Competency in fact-based problem-solving and analysis.
- Ability to interpret and convey key points in a way that is easily understood.
- Basic computer knowledge including Word, Excel, and payroll software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
