Position: HR Generalist
Location: Tucson, Arizona (Hybrid)
Duration: Full Time

Job Description:

  • The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position focuses on maintaining accurate employee records, managing HRIS systems, tracking attendance, and facilitating employee communications. The HR Generalist collaborates on recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews, managing candidate correspondence, and assisting with job postings and initial screenings.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records and ensure the integrity of HRIS data.
  • Track attendance, leaves, and time-off requests while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in talent acquisition by scheduling interviews, managing communications with candidates, and supporting pre-hiring activities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, benefits administration guidelines, and workplace policies.
  • Contribute to health and safety initiatives to promote a positive and compliant workplace environment.
  • Provide administrative support for benefits enrollment, leave tracking, and employee onboarding.
  • Support HR Generalist and other team members as needed to ensure smooth HR operations.
  • Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and data management.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
