As the HRBP APJ, you’ll partner closely with the client's business leaders at all levels, work with global HR fellows, and support employees throughout the org. to, drive and support our business growth. The HRBP role will continue to evolve and change as the company grows and as the HR organisation changes along with it to meet the business needs.
Responsibilities
- Be a trusted advisor to clients' functions’ leaders in building partnership with managers and organizations
- Provide front-line support for employee relations issues, including responding to employee inquiries, supporting internal mobility and guiding managers through employees related issues
- Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures
- Recommend strategies to promote culture and motivate employees
- Advise managers on performance management, employee development and team building
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure a top-notch new hire experience, participate in the interview process
- Manage termination process
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices
- Keep on top of the local/regional developments and changes in compliance that will affect Cato’s business and Catonians
- Provide support to HR projects
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business or related field; or equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience in a fully functional Associate HR Business Partner/HR Generalist role in a rapidly growing, high-demand, high output role
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations (Singapore, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, etc.)
- Deep expertise in working with Go To Market organisation
- Previous experience at a tech start-up, ideally in the Cybersecurity or SaaS space
- Proven success in driving projects forward successfully to completion
- Strong desire to help others and intellectual curiosity about people and organisation issues
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to remain flexible and agile in an ever-changing environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
