About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect providing Design solutions in any of Hitachi Storage products (i.e, VSP, G Service, HCP, HNAS), Service Presales. In this role you will be responsible for front-ending customer engagements, Storage Architecture, Designing and providing solutions and Servies sales. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer requirements, developing tailored solution designs and reviewing proposals. This role requires advanced expertise in Storage Solutions, Services Sales, handling Indian clients. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops solution designs for area of expertise especially in the infrastructure domain.
  • Involved in sales process for key deals or customers. Generation of solution design and plan the services efforts.
  • Understand, learn and position Hitachi Vantara Solution offerings like Cyber Resilience, End-to-End Monitoring Solutions, Automation, Data Management, AIOps and GenAI
  • Contributes to transition and transformation plans by identifying tasks required to implement solution.
  • Reviews and provides inputs for customer proposals.
  • Ensures customer requirements have been understood and incorporated into engagement scope.
  • Serves as solution support during sales engagement.
  • Maintains a catalogue of hardware and software solutions.
  • Creates custom solutions only when standardized solutions do not meet requirements.
  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues; seen as a subject matter expert for Services Sales.
  • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams; may participate in cross functional initiatives
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
  • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
  • Works on complex solutions where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
  • Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel in Lead role.
  • Knowledge on Hitachi Storage, Migrations, SAN Switches - Brocade and Cisco, Backup solutions and Virtualizations are desirable.
  • Awareness of End-to-End Monitoring Solutions, Automation and Data Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 12- 18 years’ experience in infrastructure domain.
