As our HIM Associate, you will be maintaining the integrity and precision of patient records. You’ll use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interview patients as well as physicians and their staff. Your role plays a key part in managing and overseeing health information systems.
To thrive in this position, you will need to be detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about handling sensitive information. You will use your understanding of Health Informatics (HI) to run an error analysis and recommend solutions. Exercises independent judgment related to the retrieval of health information.
Here’s what you will experience working as an HIM Associate:

Chart retrieval from all patient care areas.

Chart check-in, reconciliation, and follow-up of missing documentation. Prepping, scanning, indexing, and quality control validation of all medical records.

Ensuring that the resolution of health record deficiencies is in accordance with regulatory compliance, legal standards, and reimbursement activities.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $17.00 - $24.07 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
