Guardian’s Digital and Technology (D&T) organization is undergoing a transformation to drive the growth and future strategy of the business. As Head of Technology Strategy and Execution, you will be a part of the exciting shift we are making! In partnership with the D&T leadership team, this role will play an important part in shaping the vision and execution for the function. The position focuses on leading and driving efforts to set strategy for the organization, measure and monitor the effectiveness of our programs, develop presentations and messaging for our senior leadership and collaborate across the organization on behalf of D&T.

You have
- Bachelor’s degree with 10-15 years
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to effectively develop alternative solutions and make recommendations
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with various audiences and stakeholders across executive, peers and direct reports
- Experience working in an organization undergoing transformational change and the ability to support, drive and influence the change agenda to achieve the expectations
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt to a changing work environment
- Strong influence skills with your peers and executives, and can support the decision making for broad based organizational decisions
You will
- Drive long-term strategies and decisions for the Digital and Technology organization based on market and technology trends and with consideration for business partners and technology delivery model
- Facilitate the development of the D&T strategic plans and supporting activities including development of Board materials and other critical strategic materials (e.g., target letter)
- Lead the process to provide meaningful updates and transparency to the contributions of the D&T function to the Guardian strategic outcomes (e.g., quarterly business reviews)
- Support the development of the new organization and implementation of structure, processes and standards to improve the planning, execution and success
- Establish and maintain the KPIs and metrics regarding progress and derive insights and required actions to achieve expected outcomes
- Work across the organization to build relationships, drive cross-functional discussions and decisions
- Identify strategic opportunities for the organization with potential to lead initiatives to drive early momentum and impact
- Ensure Digital & Technology decisions and governance are clearly defined and supported throughout the function

This role will report to our Head of Strategy, Planning & Governance for Digital and Technology.

The primary location for this position is New York, NY or Holmdel, NJ.
Salary Range:
$174,760.00 - $287,102.50
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
