Our Mission
Healthcare should work for patients, but it doesn’t. In their time of need, they call down outdated insurance directories. Then wait on hold. Then wait weeks for the privilege of a visit. Then wait in a room solely designed for waiting. Then wait for a surprise bill. In any other consumer industry, the companies delivering such a poor customer experience would not survive. But in healthcare, patients lack market power. Which means they are expected to accept the unacceptable.
Zocdoc’s mission is to give power to the patient. To do that, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace that makes it easy to find and book in-person or virtual care in all 50 states, across +200 specialties and +12k insurance plans. By giving patients the ability to see and choose, we give them power. In doing so, we can make healthcare work like every other consumer sector, where businesses compete for customers, not the other way around. In time, this will drive quality up and prices down.
We’re 17 years old and the leader in our space, but we are still just getting started. If you like solving important, complex problems alongside deeply thoughtful, driven, and collaborative teammates, read on.
Your Impact on Our Mission
As a Principal Product Manager on Zocdoc’s Provider Go-to-Market (GTM) team, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling how we bring new and existing provider-facing products to market. Sitting at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Sales, Service, and Operations, you’ll define and operationalize our provider GTM strategy—shaping how providers discover, understand, purchase, and receive support for Zocdoc’s offerings.
You’ll architect a unified GTM ecosystem that removes friction across the funnel—from inbound interest to product adoption and support—unlocking cross-functional leverage and accelerating our ability to deliver value to providers. Your work will directly influence revenue growth, product activation, operational scalability, and provider satisfaction.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, builds for scale, and leads with both strategic vision and operational precision.
You’ll enjoy this role if you are:
- Personally motivated to improve our healthcare system.
- A 10x, first-principles thinker who considers strategy within a broader, industry-wide context and inspires others to think similarly.
- Someone who thrives in ambiguity, with a knack for inventing solutions to test key hypotheses and quickly extract learnings.
- A collaborative leader who establishes strong communication across teams and drives projects seamlessly across technical and non-technical departments.
- Excited by the challenge of consistently leading teams to solve the hardest problems and make measurable improvements.
- Deeply knowledgeable about the technical stack and architecture of your product area while being recognized as an internal expert on your customer.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Championing a GTM product vision that aligns cross-functional teams around clear goals and priorities
- Owning the roadmap for Provider GTM systems and infrastructure, with a focus on business impact and operational scale
- Building high-leverage solutions that accelerate time-to-revenue, improve product adoption, and reduce manual processes
- Partnering with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Ops, and Finance to ensure seamless delivery, activation, and support
- Measuring success using both qualitative feedback and quantitative KPIs—and iterating accordingly
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
- 12+ years of experience in product management or other relevant fields, ideally with a mix of early- and late-stage product environments.
- Experience leading GTM, growth, or monetization initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Deep technical fluency and the ability to partner closely with Engineering and Data teams to architect scalable systems
- Experience working across Marketing, Sales, and/or Support—particularly with CRM and lead management tooling
- A high-judgment, inventive mindset, adept at making sense of complex, sometimes contradictory information to effectively make decisions (with a knack for being right).
- Extensive expertise in improving speed and processes, partnering with senior leaders to drive urgency and accountability for achieving OKRs.
- Proficiency in SQL, Amplitude, and Looker (preferred).
Benefits:
- Flexible, hybrid work environment
- Unlimited PTO
- 100% paid employee health benefit options
