As a Head of Product this role will work within our practice management area of Xero. Owning a number of complex and high priority product areas, including our core enablement and platform capabilities such as our public APIs, search and navigation, as well as driving success in new product areas such as AI and key commercial partnerships and integrations.

What we're looking for:

  • MUST have experience and a strong understanding with AI products.
  • Around 10 years' experience in product management.
  • B2B and external partnership experience.
  • Strategic and Commercial mindset
  • Have strong product and people leadership experience
  • Be values driven with a strong focus on collaboration and delivering on outcomes
  • Love learning new things and willing to push boundaries and drive new thinking
  • A track record of solving complex customer, commercial, and technical problems.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate and develop a team of product managers
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for the success of multiple product areas and teams.
  • Lead commercial partnership opportunities and integrations.
  • Drive product strategy and a coherent narrative for your product area
  • Lead a team of talented product managers and senior product managers to develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap
  • You will coach team members and elevate product management capability and performance in your team and the wider division
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and product marketing to bring new products to market.
  • Deeply understand your customers, and drive shared understanding of target segments across your team and stakeholders
  • Be an effective spokesperson for the product, communicating effectively with executives and other stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in relevant industry and technology.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive product adoption and growth.
