Infotel UK is seeking a dedicated PMO Manager to oversee and enhance the functions of our Project Management Office. As a PMO Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing project governance, ensuring project alignment with strategic objectives, and improving project delivery performance. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of project management professionals and drive best practices across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement, and maintain project management methodologies and standards.
- Oversee the portfolio of projects, ensuring they align with the organisation's strategic direction.
- Provide guidance and support to project managers in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Develop and maintain project management tools and templates to streamline processes.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and senior management.
- Monitor project performance, including adherence to budget and timelines, and report on progress to stakeholders.
- Lead PMO initiatives to improve project delivery and outcomes.
- Conduct training and mentoring for project managers and their teams.
- Significant experience leading a team of project management professionals.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects and teams.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
