Position Overview

The Head of Marketing & Strategy (m/f/d) is a senior leadership position with global responsibility for the technical and commercial marketing activities of Nexperia's Bipolar Discretes Business Group, as well as for the group's strategic development, from formulation to implementation.

Reporting directly to the Bipolar Discretes General Manager, the Head of Marketing & Strategy (m/f/d) is part of the Business Group's management team, working in close collaboration with all Product Groups in the Business Group and all Regional Sales Heads while leading a team of Marketing experts.

The role supports the Product Groups in identifying adjacent and emerging markets, customers, application and industry trends to set Nexperia apart from competition, streamlining and optimizing all marketing activities across the different Product Groups.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the Bipolar Discretes Business Group

  • Act as the Chief of Staff for the Business Group Management Team

  • Facilitate and deliver the annual corporate deep dive input 

  • Lead and develop the Business Group strategy including market-, competitors-, and data analysis 

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and drive change programs

  • Create and manage market intelligence to identify growth opportunities for the Bipolar Discretes business

  • Oversee analysis of market data and modelling of future scenarios

  • Benchmark Nexperia against competitors from multiple cross sections; financial, portfolio, industrial, organisational and technology

  • Design and implement governance framework of Bipolar Discretes business

  • Own ways of working, methods for strategic marketing

  • Develop relevant business partnerships to develop new capabilities

  • Attend conferences and industry events and engage with customers to keep on top of market dynamics


This is you

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with proven Marketing track record, or Degree in Marketing

  • More than 5 years of semiconductor industry experience

  • Experience of working as a senior leader and people manager with demonstrable mentoring skills

  • Market expert within the semiconductor industry, understands trends and application on product and system level

  • Working understanding of program management, and experience of delivering cross-functional strategic initiatives

  • Competence in data analysis, presentation and story telling

  • Strategic thinker with an analytical approach

  • Growth mindset; able to view failing as an opportunity for learning

  • Motivator and team player, enabling others to find solutions

  • Highly organized and structured

  • Hands-on mentality: take initiatives and opportunities

  • Effective communicator able to present to all levels of the business

  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, additional relevant language skills a plus
