The Head of Brand is part of the Public Affairs function. The role is responsible for enterprise brand strategy, media, sponsorships and global events, while serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the executive leadership team. Reporting to the Head of Public Affairs, the Head of Brand will work closely with the executive leadership team across lines of business to drive continuity for Wells Fargo Brand.
In this role, you will:
- Provide vision and set direction for development and execution of overall business strategies, policies and operating plans related for enterprise Brand Strategy and Sponsorships
- Design and execute long-term strategy for Sponsorships portfolio
- Drive business results through partners to maximize results and facilitate sales opportunities to achieve long term strategic objectives with broad and companywide impact
- Define the enterprise brand strategy that will unify line of business strategy and drive a competitive advantage with relevance and differentiation for Wells Fargo in the marketplace; provide strategic, long term, risk compliant solutions to the most complex business challenges companywide with minimal precedent
- Partner with business group executive management on the development of the most complex multiyear projects, strategies, goals and business ventures; Establish, educate, and enforce brand standards enabling execution of the brand’s visual and verbal expression across the enterprise
- Develop long term, broad reaching business strategies for marketing and contribute to development and execution of corporate strategy, providing information and recommendations to senior executives
- Influence experienced management and provide expertise to business group executive management, presenting key information within marketing to support strategic decision-making
- Create brand experiences that resonate with target audiences based on deep understanding of consumer behavior
- Analyze and synthesize data and consumer insights to measure brand performance and optimize strategies
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Enterprise Marketing and Brand Develop. and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Marketing, Strategy, or Senior Business Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced, dynamic and large, international matrixed environment; preference within financial services or a highly controlled/regulated industry like insurance, technology, or healthcare.
- Experience in developing and executing brand strategies that drive market share, revenue and customer loyalty and aligning brand initiatives with business goals
- Experience with digital and social media marketing, e-commerce strategies and content marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and complete a wide range of audiences and levels within the organization.
- Strong track record of leading and developing large, high-performing, cross-functional teams
- Proven experience developing and leading strategic discussions with and influencing senior leaders to generate decisions and actions.
- Superior strategy, analytic, and problem-solving experience. Ability to drive significant brand/business value by aligning brand initiatives with business goals and translating customer and marketplace insights in actionable strategies and plans oriented around driving business growth, positive customer impact, and brand perception.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs. Enthusiasm and strong relationship building skills; ability to collaborate and influence across lines of business at multiple levels; Proven track record managing vendors and agency partners
- A capacity to overcome barriers and make impactful change.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and complete a wide range of audiences and levels within the organization.
- Self-motivation and be energetic and forward thinking, possessing integrity and high ethical standards.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$331,700.00 - $773,900.00
