Mina Foundation is a ZK Layer 1 blockchain based on recursive ZK Proofs (SNARKS) based in Swirzerland. Our mandate is the governance, oversight and adoption on the Mina Protocol. As such, we are looking for a strong Sr. Growth Marketing Manager to oversee the strategy, execution, and performance of social media campaigns and channels to achieve marketing and business goals. This person will be working collaboratively with product, content, design, and community teams and will also support product marketing initiatives from a digital perspective. At the same time, they can remain flexible, creative, and self-starting. This is a remore role but working hours are EMEA based so we therefore see someone either on the East Coast of the US or in a European time zone. Asian time zones are not acceptable for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, manage and run multiple campaigns (including paid) within broader marketing efforts, while staying on schedule, within budget, and achieving high-quality output
- Lead co-marketing campaigns with partners and ecosystem projects
- Work cross-functionally with multiple departments to identify opportunities to share progress updates in an informative and engaging manner; own end-to-end research and writing of related blog, announcements, and social posts
- Develop and execute the company's social media strategy with end-to-end ownership including; creating compelling content, managing posting calendars, and driving engagement across X and LinkedIn through strategic, data-informed organic and paid campaigns.
- Build and manage KOL relationships and programmatic campaigns
- Report on insights and analytics to internal teams on a regular basis to inform business decisions to maximize growth and user acquisition
- Be our digital ecosystem maestro – connecting Mina's narrative to the pulse of online conversations. Energize our team's social presence, curate thought leadership opportunities for executives on socials that bridges our technical innovations with broader tech and crypto dialogues.
- Support the Head of Marketing & PR agency to craft press releases & optimize messaging in order to secure coverage in industry publications, online media, and news outlets.
- Support the marketing and ecosystem teams with other adjacent projects that require communications support
- Manage external marketing agency relationships (if applicable)
- Qualifications, Experience Profile, and Skills:
- 4+ years experience in marketing for tech startups
- Proven track record in leading digital marketing for high-growth web3 brands
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of social media strategies and crypto tastemakers
- Highly attentive to detail and are the first to notice typos, grammatical errors, and other non-obvious errors.
- Desire to grasp highly technical concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand communications
- Advanced knowledge of marketing analytics platforms: Brandwatch, Google Analytics
- Passionate about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies
- Nice to Have: Strong understanding of digital and traditional advertising strategies
- Nice to Have: Paid social campaign experience
