To support our mission, we're looking for a talented Growth Marketing Manager to help us with our GTM strategies to drive the promotion of our e-commerce Actors.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, ideally at another tech startup with a thriving developer community and product-led sales model.
  • You have a passion for e-commerce and the latest trends. You know all about the latest developments in the field, and you enjoy trying and testing new tools.
  • You have a strong track record of creating product marketing plans encompassing strategy, client research, competitive analysis, and messaging.
  • You can research and understand a complex technical product or feature and translate it into marketing campaigns that are relatable and engaging to the target audience.
  • You know there is an infinite amount of work we could do, but you also know how to prioritize and execute on the most promising opportunities.
  • You are highly organized, can multitask, and work across multiple teams.
  • You have excellent written and verbal skills in English.
  • Any technical background and experience in e-commerce is a big plus, either in formal third-level education or in the trenches of another tech or e-commerce company.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategy for our e-commerce Actors.
  • Understand the needs of current and future customers and prepare tailored product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content, and collateral.
  • Develop and lead successful product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Measure and report on the performance of product marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with the team responsible for developing and maintaining our e-commerce Actors, develop compelling marketing collateral, and influence the future product roadmap.
  • Identify e-commerce industry trends and monitor competing products to come up with new hypotheses and recommendations for future growth.
  • Keep our marketing and product teams up to date on the latest e-commerce trends.

What we expect from you in the first 6 months:

By the end of the first 3 months, we expect you to:

  1. Deeply understand our e-commerce Actors, including Amazon Product Scraper, Walmart Scraper, and more.
  2. Conduct a competitive analysis of our e-commerce Actors to grasp the market landscape and identify key differentiators as well as strategies used by the competition.
  3. Reach out to existing customers to learn about their primary concerns, challenges, and use cases of our e-commerce Actors.
  4. Gain insights into the marketing channels through which Apify acquires customers for these Actors and propose new channels we should try.
  5. Achieve early successes by developing and implementing initial marketing strategies or campaigns.

By the end of the first 6 months, we expect you to:

  1. Actively contribute to the marketing strategy, aligning it with our mission and the current quarter's OKRs.
  2. Understand the user data related to our e-commerce Actors and use it to influence the adoption of features and acquisition of new customers.
  3. Take full ownership of the marketing roadmap for e-commerce Actors, ensuring it aligns with customer needs, market trends, and company goals.
