Growth Marketing Manager, Integrated Payments
Transact + CBORD is seeking a strategic, data-driven Growth Marketing Manager with proven experience in financial technology, payments, or higher education marketing with a strong foundation in growth marketing, demand generation, and account-based marketing (ABM). This role is ideal for a marketer who not only builds campaigns—but owns pipeline performance.
In this role, you’ll support the strategy, and lead the execution and optimization of multi-channel, full-funnel marketing campaigns that generate demand, accelerate sales cycles, and increase product adoption across our Integrated Payments solutions. You’ll work closely with Sales and Product Marketing teams to align marketing with revenue goals, tailoring campaigns to drive qualified leads and convert them into pipeline and closed-won deals.
We’re looking for someone who can deliver measurable results through campaigns that resonate with the fintech higher education audience—leveraging content, automation, and performance data to continuously optimize marketing impact.
You’ll be responsible for defining and tracking key marketing performance metrics across the funnel—including lead volume, conversion rates, influenced pipeline, Cost per lead (CPL), MAL-MQL-to-SQL progression, and campaign ROI—to inform strategy and ensure measurable business impact.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute strategic growth marketing initiatives to support the client lifecycle, from onboarding and engagement to expansion and retention.
- Build integrated, multi-channel marketing programs—email, digital, paid media, social, direct mail, webinars, and field programs—targeting key personas across the buyer journey.
- Partner with Sales, Regional Account teams and Product Marketing to develop and optimize account-based marketing (ABM) programs for strategic accounts and regions.
- Own campaign performance metrics, including lead generation, MQL/SQL volume, lead-to-opportunity conversion, pipeline contribution, influenced revenue, and ROI. Collaborate with internal creative and digital marketing teams to develop effective campaigns across email, web, social, direct mail, and paid media.
- Continually test, track, and optimize campaign performance to accelerate conversion rates across the funnel.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Marketing, Client Success) to ensure campaign alignment with product launches, GTM strategies, and business objectives.
- Strong project manager who can coordinate marketing calendar, campaign timelines, and resource allocation to ensure initiatives are completed efficiently an effectively.
- Maintain regular reporting on campaign performance and insights to marketing and sales leadership and identify tactics for A/B testing.
- Stay current on industry trends in higher education, fintech, and payments, bringing insights to continuously refine messaging and outreach.
- Utilize tools like HubSpot, D365, and Monday.com to automate, track, and scale marketing efforts.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience; preferably in demand generation/ campaign management.
- Background in fintech, payments, higher education, technology, or B2B or B2B2C marketing strongly preferred.
- Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills; comfortable presenting ideas and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Proven ability to work directly with clients and cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.
- Deep understanding of core marketing functions, campaign processes, and best practices.
- Exceptional project/program management skills, ability to drive planning and ensure flawless execution
- Technology Proficiency experience with HubSpot, D365, Monday.com, and other marketing automation or CRM tools is a plus.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset—able to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Creative thinker and problem-solver who looks beyond the task to identify ways to improve and innovate.
- Team player with a passion for student success and supporting higher education institutions.
