About CookUnity

Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 35 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.

Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.

If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.

About the Role:

As a Growth Marketing Manager, GTM, you will orchestrate supply and demand through CookUnity’s core direct-to-consumer channels, ensuring that our marketplace efficiently connects chef-created meals with the right customers. You will lead cross-functional initiatives spanning brand, growth, analytics, business operations, marketplace, and operations to optimize how we acquire, retain, and engage customers while ensuring our supply remains balanced and fully utilized.

You will play a critical role in bringing limited-time offers, meal collections, and creative campaigns to market, shaping how we introduce new culinary experiences and drive customer demand. This role requires someone with a strong inclination for action, the ability to bring key leaders along, and a high EQ with a bias for communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrate supply and demand dynamics through direct-to-consumer channels, ensuring meal supply is effectively matched with customer purchasing behavior.
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for new growth initiatives, including limited-time offers, meal collections, and creative marketing campaigns, collaborating with brand, growth, analytics, business operations, marketplace, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Improve marketplace liquidity by optimizing how we balance chef supply with customer demand through pricing, promotions, bundling, and distribution strategies.
  • Launch and iterate on limited-time promotions, new meal categories, and seasonal offerings, ensuring they drive both new customer acquisition and retention.
  • Partner with creative teams to develop compelling marketing assets and storytelling that elevate brand differentiation and customer engagement.
  • Create business cases to support expansion opportunities, new customer acquisition efforts, and chef onboarding strategies.
  • Define and implement key performance metrics for GTM initiatives, tracking success and iterating based on performance data.
  • Own the end-to-end execution of demand-generation strategies, including paid and organic marketing, CRM, partnerships, and performance marketing.
  • Enhance customer segmentation and personalization strategies, ensuring optimal positioning for different audience groups and maximizing lifetime value.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the Growth and Product teams, influencing roadmap decisions based on insights and performance trends.
  • Continuously optimize GTM execution, leveraging data and insights to improve performance across marketing and operational initiatives.

What You’ll BringCollaboration and Communication

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between creative, marketing, and operational execution to bring GTM strategies to life.

Mindset and Work Style

  • Creative thinker with a passion for customer-centric product innovation, storytelling, and brand marketing.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a bias toward action and delivering results.
  • Comfortable thriving in a hybrid or remote-first work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in growth marketing, product growth, business strategy, or go-to-market execution.
  • Proven experience in a marketplace, e-commerce, or meal subscription business preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in building and executing GTM strategies for new products, services, or growth initiatives.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence leaders across different departments.
  • Experience launching and optimizing limited-time offers, meal collections, and seasonal campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Background in pricing strategies, promotional mechanics, and creative marketing execution preferred.
  • High EQ and strong communication skills—comfortable leading through influence and bringing key stakeholders along.
