Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Group Manager to lead, consolidate, and transform key financial functions, including credit assessment, billing, customer master data review, and collections, with a focus on automation, process optimization, and integration with freight broking operations. This role emphasizes leveraging technology, including RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and other digital tools, to drive efficiency and excellence.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership:o Develop and execute a consolidated strategy for credit, billing, data management, and collections.o Champion transformation initiatives to automate and optimize financial workflows.o Ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.2. Credit Management:o Oversee credit assessment policies, ensuring robust risk evaluation and customer onboarding processes.o Implement predictive analytics and digital tools for credit scoring and monitoring.o Collaborate with sales and operations to balance growth and risk.3. Billing and Invoicing Transformation:o Streamline billing operations through automation and RPA tools to ensure precision and timeliness.o Establish controls to eliminate revenue leakage and enhance transparency.o Lead initiatives to modernize billing systems and integrate with ERP platforms.4. Customer Master Data Governance:o Centralize and maintain accurate customer master data across all systems.o Implement automated workflows for data audits, validation, and updates.o Partner with IT teams to establish scalable data governance frameworks.5. Collections Efficiency:o Review collections teams with a focus on reducing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) through proactive and automated processes.o Develop digital-first strategies for recovery and dispute resolution.o Monitor trends and enhance forecasting capabilities using advanced analytics.6. Process Transformation and Automation:o Drive end-to-end process improvements using RPA, AI, and machine learning tools.o Identify and implement scalable solutions to reduce manual intervention and increase accuracy.o Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability within the team.7. Team Development:o Build, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team to embrace technology and innovation.o Define performance metrics, provide consistent coaching, and career development opportunities.o Promote accountability and a collaborative work environment.Required Experience:• Minimum of 10 years in managing end to end Order to cash role with experience in credit, billing, collections, and process optimization.• Proven track record in driving digital transformation and automation projects.• Experience in freight broking or logistics is highly desirable.• Strong leadership capabilities with a history of managing cross-functional teams.Key Skills:• Expertise in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and process transformation.• Proficiency in automation tools, ERP systems, and advanced analytics platforms.• Strategic problem-solving skills with a focus on digital innovation.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.• Adaptability to fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).• Certifications in RPA, data analytics, or relevant areas are advantageous.
