**Job Description:**
The Computing and Communication Foundations (CCF) Program Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to program staff, assisting in various facets of program management. Responsibilities include preparing and clearing program solicitations and management plans, developing engaging communication materials and presentations, and coordinating logistics for workshops and interagency planning activities. The Program Coordinator will also maintain and distribute critical process documents, templates, and timelines, supporting the review and award process. Additional duties include aiding in the recruitment of panelists, administering reviewer surveys, curating data, and managing the coordination of panel activities.
This role demands a proactive individual with a solid scientific background and excellent organizational capabilities. The Program Coordinator will work closely with CCF Program Directors, contributing to the efficient execution of programmatic activities and supporting the advancement of cutting-edge research initiatives.
**Educational Requirements:**
- Master’s degree in Computer or Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related CISE-supported field.
- Relevant experience in managing research projects and interdisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with program and project management principles.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
- Skilled in using collaboration tools such as Outlook, Zoom, OneDrive, Teams, Box, and Slack.
- Experience with SharePoint and other online document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
