Global Support L2 Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot platform-related issues, with a focus on identifying and resolving system bottlenecks

• Provide solutions and alternative approaches, negotiating with customers about the best ways to overcome issues.

• Use logging and troubleshooting tools to identify performance bottlenecks and perform root-cause analysis.

• Bridge with internal teams to be a part of our product’s continuous improvement process.

• Interact with many different people from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures, both internally and with customers.

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge in troubleshooting Application Servers (IIS) performance issues and able to clearly communicate recommendations for improvement.

• Intermediate knowledge of Databases and query optimization (SQL Server and Oracle).

• Foundational knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, SMTP, SSH.

• Degree in Engineering or other technology-related degrees (BSc, MSc); 4 years work experience in lieu of degree

• Tech savviness and drive to solve complex problems with the ability to deconstruct problems into smaller pieces, with little or no preset resolution pattern.

• Fluency in English (bilingual is a plus).

• Must be willing to work 8am-5pm PST shift.
