Position Title: Global Strategic Sourcing Intern
Location: Mindelo, Portugal
Position Overview
Global Strategic Sourcing Intern will be responsible for system support, data cleaning, maintenance of supplier database, and close follow-up with suppliers while gathering specific data. Will also have additional support responsibilities to include a variety of project-related work and daily management tasks. Will report to a more senior member of the sourcing team and directly support 1-3 sourcing managers.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities could include the following in support of 1-3 Sourcing Managers

Perform data gathering and analysis related to sourcing and category management initiatives.

Comfortable working with data bases and spreadsheets.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Possess entry level business understanding, good communication skills and collaborative/team skills.

Daily manager guidance on all projects, processes and accountabilities.
Minimum Requirements

High School degree, ideally a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management, Economics, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering field;

Good English level (written and spoken)

Strong desire and innate capability to learn.

Skills: strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills.
