Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background within the EOR / HR tech space, with experience in building accelerated sales from inbound sources AND driving higher value outbound sales to the mid-market sector.

This is a pivotal role that combines leadership, strategy, and execution in a fast-paced, globally distributed organization, and reports directly to our Chief Revenue Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development:

o Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team of 6-8 AEs across North America, Europe, and APAC regions.

o Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

o Provide regular coaching, feedback, and mentorship to drive individual and team performance.

o Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

o Develop and execute GTM strategies for inbound leads (primarily SMB) and outbound sales motions targeting midmarket customers.

o Drive multi-threaded sales processes for larger accounts with longer sales cycles.

o Collaborate with marketing and sales operations to build effective outbound lead generation and pipeline management processes.

o Align with partnerships to create co-selling opportunities with EORs, PEOs, payroll providers, and accounting firms.

  • Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:

o Own and drive regional revenue targets while ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

o Identify opportunities to expand market share across all geos by developing scalable outbound sales engines.

o Leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimize sales processes and increase conversion rates.

o Partner with product and marketing teams to tailor messaging and offerings to regional needs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o Collaborate with Customer Success and Operations to ensure smooth handovers and customer satisfaction.

o Work closely with Marketing to align on campaigns and content that support inbound and outbound efforts.

o Maintain strong internal communication with finance and sales operations to manage forecasts and pipeline reporting.


Key Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales management experience in the EOR, payroll, or HR tech space.
  • Proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience in GTM strategy development for both inbound and outbound sales engines.
  • Experience work with and/or managing reps internationally.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell up-market into midmarket and enterprise accounts.
  • Ability to foster partnerships with PEOs, EORs, payroll providers, and other partners.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills in a distributed, remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and close deals.
