The Global Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring high serviceability standards in new product development & lifecycle-management projects, technical publications, initial training, global parts availability, and service process validation.

This position reports to the Global Service Readiness Engineering Manager, Upstream and is part of the Global Service Readiness Engineering Team located in Hoegaarden, Belgium and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

· Plan and execute service engineering deliverables in new product development & life-cycle management projects.

· Prepare and validate detailed service protocols e.g. Troubleshooting, repair, installation, preventive maintenance.

· Represent the service organization in new product development, ensure adoption of design for serviceability in new products.

· Part of cross functional teams to support projects at global level and coordinate between R&D, Product Engineering, Operations and Quality teams.

Who you are:

· 3+ years of experience in Biomedical, Mechanical, Systems engineering or related discipline.

· Experienced in troubleshooting, repair, design and testing of Electro-mechanical systems.

· Experience in technical writing and defining requirement specifications (e.g. Design for Serviceability / Design for Reliability / Design for Diagnostics Modelling)

· Strong commitment to continuous improvement, is willing to act and able to influence others.

· Fluently English & Dutch language skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

· Ability to travel up to 10% domestic & internationally

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· Demonstrated technical depth with problem-solving techniques and meeting deadlines & deliverables

· FMEA, 5-why, diagnostic modeling, Fault Tree Analysis, predictive maintenance or related tools.
