Main Ingredients:
Define KHC's global net zero strategy

• You will work collaboratively with zone and function teams to define the net zero strategy to deliver KHC's greenhouse gas emissions targets and commitments.
• You will move from ambition to clear action plan to deliver global and zone emissions targets.
• You will map out specific initiatives with top suppliers and partners; coordinating the initiatives, timing, results, cost, impact, etc.

Evolve and deliver KHC's global net zero strategy and annual objectives

• The candidate will be able to create business cases where relevant to secure investment and public funding in net zero initiatives, including CAPEX, COGS or external support needed to deliver KHC's greenhouse gas commitments.
• The person can build out and manage processes to monitor and track the global net zero roadmap, giving insight to key achievements and decision requirements and holding zones and functions accountable for delivering plans and capturing value.
• It is key to create effective project management and governance surrounding key partnerships related to greenhouse gas commitments.
• This person is able to structure and execute internal and external forums to effectively share expectations and greenhouse gas ambitions; facilitate idea generation, best practice sharing and preferred investment opportunities.
• They can identify and propose initiatives aligned to greenhouse gas emissions targets and commitments to the relevant decision bodies.

Participate in internal and external meetings related to net zero globally

• This person will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for greenhouse gas emissions, bringing in experience from other organizations or suppliers to appropriately challenge and build net zero plans and initiatives; support the global procurement function in net zero related topics including global supplier negotiations.
• They will interact and collaborate with leaders within the zones and functions, particularly the sustainability leads, and the category leads.

Support other functions and teams as the need arises to deliver KHC's objectives

• I have 5+ years defining and implementing sustainability strategies focused on greenhouse gases, preferably in the food industry.
• I have 5+ years defining and building partnerships focused on sustainability with diverse entities and enrolling stakeholders across multiple levels of seniority and roles.
• I have 8+ years total professional experience which must include sustainability and at least one of the following areas: food value chain, agriculture, NGO or research organization in the food sector.
• I can simplify complex challenges into clear strategies, roadmaps, and actionable initiatives.
• I am able to deliver financial and non-financial objectives according to plan.
• I can engage internal and external partners across multiple seniority levels and organizations.
• I build impactful networks and alliances to deliver the net zero agenda.
• I can present to and connect with our senior leadership teams.
• I have excellent self-management and organizational skills.
