We’re now excited to welcome a new Global Key Accounts Marketing Director, and we hope it’s you! This role can be based in our offices in either Hilversum (Netherlands), or Haverhill (UK) with the possibility for hybrid work. 

Taste is a key division within IFF, which focuses on creating unique and sustainable food and beverage experiences. Our Global Key Accounts (GKA) team plays a crucial role in driving strategic partnerships and delivering exceptional value to our top clients. As the GKA Marketing Lead, you will be part of the Taste division, working closely with key stakeholders, including GKA leaders, and collaborating with various departments such as Regional Marketing, Innovation, Creation & Design, Product Experience, and Consumer Insights. 

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth through a best-in-class customer journey. This involves coordinating marketing efforts from a global perspective to support GKA’s efficiently and acting as the connector between regional, and category marketing and customer needs. GKA Marketing delivers strategic thinking, storytelling, and uncommon execution to enable core listing wins, build long-term strategic relationships, defend profitable business, and strengthen our approach to win new growth opportunities. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Conducting Top-to-Top and R&D Strategic Partnership meetings 

  • Coordinating with Sales & Customer to design agendas and align expectations 

  • Collaborating with other functions to drive execution (e.g., Agenda, PowerPoint, presentation material) 

  • Supporting core listing pitches through developing materials, coordinating the approach with GKA leaders & driving the pitch execution  

  • Following up on actions and projects to drive growth 

  • Staying connected with regional & global marketing & innovation teams 

  • Staying informed about innovations, new launches, and category growth initiatives 

  • Collaborating with GKA & functional leaders to identify relevant innovations and initiatives 

  • Sharing knowledge and best practices among GKAs 

  • Identifying proactive partnership opportunities 

  • Defining opportunities with Sales team & IC&D 

  • Coordinating global marketing efforts to support GKA efficiently 

  • Delivering strategic thinking, storytelling, and uncommon execution to build long-term relationships 

  • Preparing, creating, and delivering interactive presentations that engage customers 

  • Creating novel approaches, tools, and creative executions for customer experiences 

 

To excel in this role, you will need: 

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Economics (MBA preferred). 

  • At least 10 years of experience in customer-facing marketing roles, or account-based marketing experience preferably in B2B or the food sector. 

  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and capabilities in relationship building and management. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • A customer-centric mindset and the ability to lead through influence. 

  • Experience in international roles and/or multicultural environments.
