As a Global Category Manager at our Infobip, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of supplies, equipment, and services essential for our operations. Your responsibilities will encompass sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to meet our company's needs effectively and efficiently.

Your responsibilities:

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for IT equipment, software, and services.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.

Procurement Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and budgetary constraints.

  • Continuously optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Contract Negotiation and Management:

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers and vendors.

  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels of IT equipment and supplies to meet operational demands.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and maintain adequate stock levels.

Cost Control and Budgeting:

  • Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.

  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets in collaboration with finance and operations teams.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.

  • Mitigate procurement risks related to supply chain disruptions and vendor dependencies.

More about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; CIPS certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Global Category Manager or in a similar role within the IT or telecommunications industry.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management.

  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills with a strategic mindset.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English.
