As part of the Sales Development Team, you play a crucial role in the successful growth of Dynatrace in the DACH region. In your role as an SDR, you are the "face to the outside" and the first point of contact for our customers.
Our SDR team works closely with Account Executives from the DACH region to develop and implement an effective sales strategy. You will work with enterprise customers and conduct initial conversations that lead to so-called sales opportunities. It is important to approach our target audience strategically, communicate our value proposition effectively, and qualify opportunities according to the criteria of MEDDPICC. Our Strategic Sales Development Representatives partner with our Strategic Account Executives across Germany to build and implement an effective sales pipeline strategy. You will be engaging with an Enterprise client base to drive the adoption of our market leading products and will need to be able to think strategically to adjust your approach depending on each customers unique needs.
Responsibilities:

  • Support account planning by conducting relevant research, developing compelling value narratives, and creating and executing effective outreach strategies.
  • Generating and developing sales opportunities by setting up high-value meetings with our target persona.
  • Drive new logo acquisitions as well as expand our footprint within strategic accounts in Germany through proactive outbound prospecting
  • Building sales pipeline through qualifying inbound leads gained from events, downloads, trials and webinars
  • Be creative and strategic with your sales approach by using all tools available (Sales Nav, ZoomInfo, Salesloft etc.)
  • Gather sales intelligence around customers situation, needs, issues and decision process
  • Ensure quality data on prospects is updated and maintained within Salesforce
  • Become fully emersed with Dynatrace's products and its value add to customers to leverage our position against competitors
  • Conduct product demonstrations for customers


What will help you succeed

  • Initial experience in a sales/business development/sales development role is advantageous. Interest in consultative tech sales.
  • Excellent German and English skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt the sales approach.
  • Ambition that enables you to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Good collaboration with internal stakeholders.
