Job Summary
Because of the opportunities we see for the Geosuite product line, both locally, in Sweden and Norway, and worldwide - as a part of the Trimble Solutions family, we’re now making an investment in Geosuite. We would like to grow and become a larger team of both developers and geotechnical software solutions engineers.
As a Geotechnical software solutions engineer at Trimble your daily work will be varied and you will have the possibility to have an impact in all aspects of software development, i.e. product management, development, customer relations and sales. You will be working in close collaboration with the existing Geosuite team and be mentored from the very beginning through an onboarding process, so you feel both welcome and comfortable. You will be part of a global team even though your office will be located in Stockholm or Gothenburg, Sweden, or Oslo, Norway.

Responsibilities: Key areas and duties of position

Work with our customers and help them succeed with our geotechnical solutions

Work with our sales team supporting with specific domain expertise for the Geosuite product line

Actively participate in marketing activities like conferences, presentations, software demonstrations, creating newsletter articles, demo videos etc.

Provide customer support on the Geosuite product line

Work with specifications of new functionality

Work with developers helping them understand the specifications and discussing implementation of the functionality

Participate in work with the Geosuite roadmap, discussing the direction of the Geosuite product line with other members of the Geosuite product team

Carry out Geosuite software testing

Facilitate software online training

Ensure that Trimble is represented in technical working groups, industry trade associations, seminars, etc.

Some domestic and international travel to customers and potential sites would be expected
Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering (other type of background with a relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering will be considered)

3+ years of experience within the Geotechnical field

Experience with the Geosuite products is an advantage

Good people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties

Fluent (verbally and in writing) in Swedish or Norwegian
