We are seeking a high-performing General Manager to take the wheel of UD Truck Distributors (NZ) Ltd, our exclusive national distributor of UD Trucks. Based at our head office in Wiri, Auckland and reporting directly to the General Manager of Commercial Sales, this role is a rare opportunity to lead a high revenue turnover business with a national sales and service footprint.

This isn’t just a leadership role—it's a chance to shape the business, drive further sales growth, and build a high-performing team, all while ensuring alignment with group strategy and franchise expectations.

 As General Manager, you’ll bring:

• Senior management experience in sales management.
• Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management, ideally at Manufacturer Distributor level.
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Good negotiation skills and customer service skills.
• Has high motivation, energy, discipline, and has good presentation skills.
• Experience in the Heavy transport industry is essential

You will have or be able to develop an intimate understanding of the customer base and ensure the UD Trucks brand is strong in the market place to maximize the full potential of the model line-up.
