General and Tax Accountant (M/F/N)

What you’ll do ​& Who you are

Main responsibilities

General accounting (IFRS and French GAAP):

- General accounting, including current operations (purchases, sales, cash flow) and closing operations (provisions, depreciation, etc.).
- Preparation and review of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in compliance with IFRS and French GAAP.
- Reconciliation of accounts and justification of balances.
- Participation in internal and external audits.
- Implementation and improvement of accounting procedures.

Tax management (IFRS and French GAAP) with the support of the Tax Manager:
- Calculation and declaration of taxes (VAT, CFE, etc.).
- Support in managing tax audits and any litigation.
- Assistance in preparing tax documentation (tax return, tax returns, etc.).

Reporting (IFRS and French GAAP):
- Production of regular financial and tax reports.
- Analysis of accounting and financial data.

Additional tasks (depending on profile and experience)

- Support other departments in accounting matters.
- Participation in the implementation of accounting and financial information systems.
- Parameterization and optimization of FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules in SAP.
- Support SAP users in general and tax accounting matters.
- Extract and analyze data from SAP for reporting and controlling purposes.

Profile required

- At least 10 years' experience in general and tax accounting.
- Confirmed expertise in IFRS and French GAAP.
- Mastery of SAP, in particular the FI and CO modules.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax techniques.
- Fluent English essential (written and spoken).
- Rigor, organization, precision and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people (internal and external).
- Good command of IT tools (accounting software, Excel).

Profile required

- Higher education in accounting (DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalent).
- Significant experience in a similar position, ideally in a multi-entity and/or international environment.
- Fluent English
