Are you ready to advance your career in the fast-paced world of credit trading? As an ECP Trader on our Global Short Term Fixed Income team, you will join an ambitious and expanding desk in Paris, positioned within the market-leading Global Credit Trading franchise. This role offers a unique opportunity to trade multi-currency commercial paper and certificates of deposit across all sectors.
Job Responsibilities
- Trade multi-currency commercial paper and certificates of deposit across all sectors.
- Proactively manage risk, including credit, interest rate, liquidity, and reputational risks.
- Trade interest rate products (e.g., OIS, Euribor & Libor Futures, Government bonds) to hedge desk interest rate exposures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their funding requirements, and regularly update them with market insights and trade ideas.
- Monitor and evaluate pricing via multiple sources, including issuer runs, electronic pricing screens, and client chats, to identify market liquidity opportunities.
- Contribute to technology development by testing, monitoring, and suggesting improvements to increase efficiencies and revenues.
- Interact daily with global trading teams to exchange market color, trade ideas, and identify liquidity opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal partners, including Debt Capital Markets, Syndicate, and Corporate Banking, to deliver the firm's expertise and contribute to franchise revenue growth.
- Ensure smooth trade settlement processes to reduce financial and reputational costs.
- Actively participate in and lead client presentations and pitches for new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

- Clear and concise decision-making skills.
- Ability to execute under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing a broad range of risks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and well-organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and technological skills, including expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a willingness to contribute and assist others.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Role is in scope for Certification Regime (IAR), and it is preferable that candidates are Certified Persons.
