Job Summary
As a part of the Markets Trading Business Management team in Paris, you will support and optimize the Business performance in a new and exciting environment.
Business Management optimizes business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. We act as trusted advisors and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The role of a business manager is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of the different lines of business.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all Markets Trading teams in Paris (Rates, FIF, Credit, Equities) to advance the front office agenda, working closely with Sales teams.
- Respond promptly to executive ad-hoc business requests, manage projects, develop presentations, and conduct business analysis.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on business strategy, performance, and priorities to a wide audience, including senior management.
- Serve as a liaison between the Front Office and support groups (Middle Office, Product Control, Market Risk, etc.) to manage operations and implement key initiatives.
- Support business growth and client revenue opportunities, including new product and platform implementation.
- Assist in planning revenues, headcount, expenses, and investment/productivity initiatives.
- Ensure efficient and controlled business operations, tracking budgets/plans, and managing costs.
- Work with Financial Controllers to develop financial reporting and key MIS, providing insights on financial drivers.
- Identify and mitigate key business risks on the platform.
- Partner with Finance & Business Management teams across regions to share best practices and ensure consistency.
- Organize complex information strategically, using Excel and PowerPoint for management presentations and dashboards.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Strong project management and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Markets trading, finance structure, and regulations is beneficial.
- Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and drive agendas.
- Independent, with strong time management and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office tools
