About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager for GBS Data Analytics to lead and develop a distributed team across three vibrant locations. This role is of utmost importance in delivering powerful advanced reporting features to our GBS Shared Services organization, which facilitates Finance and Customer Operations functions. Your proficiency in implementing ground-breaking business intelligence and data science technologies will be imperative in propelling our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, supervise, and support a dispersed team of BI and Data Analytics professionals.
  • Develop and deploy advanced reporting features for the GBS Shared Services organization.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Customer Operations functions to understand their reporting needs and deliver flawless solutions.
  • Apply your deep technical expertise using the most common business intelligence and data science tools.
  • Ensure the team consistently follows established guidelines and industry norms.
  • Translate non-technical requirements into technical solutions, demonstrating outstanding business understanding.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team and across the organization.
  • Owning the RACI and Book of Work for the BI and Data Analytics Team.
  • Ensuring the collaboration with the rest of Digital Enablement
  • Securing proper delivery model and timeliness for the BI and DA team.
  • Supporting operationally the delivered solutions, managing enhancement along with the business priorities.
  • Work in partnership with the GBS Workstreams and other Enablement teams.
  • Accountable for the overall quality of the process and supervises the management of and compliance with the procedures, data models, policies, and technologies associated with the processes.
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating all the activities required to perform, monitor, and report on the development and support processes.
  • Owns the development and support process and the related supporting documentation from a strategic and tactical perspective.
  • Defines policies for the organization as necessary.
  • Accountable for the overall process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensures agreement on important indicators and achieves the set objectives.
  • Establish continuous process improvement cycles where the process performance, activities, roles and responsibilities, policies, procedures and supporting technology is reviewed and enhanced where applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in successfully managing global teams and delivering complex BI/Data Analytics projects.
  • Strong expertise in business intelligence and data science technologies.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical information to customers who may not have a technical background.
  • Demonstrated ability to compete and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize business needs and deliver outstanding results.
  • Passionate about achieving goals and motivated. Good crisis management skills.
  • Critical Thinking - Question conventional wisdom by identifying and challenging assumptions made that cause actions or inaction. Strive to inject independent thinking, checking biases, promotes action and decision-making.
  • Highly customer focused.
  • Remarkable ability to effectively collaborate with individuals in an international setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a shared services environment.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with financial and customer operations functions.
