Job Description

Your daily tasks:

  • Analyzing game data to understand players' needs and evaluate game mechanics.
  • Conducting rapid ad-hoc analyses to address urgent business and/or development needs.
  • Identifying optimal solutions for given problems by applying a broad range of knowledge, including game data, the gaming market, and appropriate analytical approaches.
  • Preparing actionable recommendations based on the analyses conducted.
  • Participating in and supporting all other areas of the analytics team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in working in the game development industry in a similar position.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python.
  • Experience with Looker Studio and BigQuery.
  • Ability to clearly communicate the results both verbally and visually along with the clear understanding of data visualization techniques and approaches.
  • Analytical and structured approach to solving the given task.
  • Team-oriented and delivery-oriented attitude. 
  • No hesitation to take complex tasks which may involve the areas with no prior experience.
  • Understanding the nature of game development workflows and the game data essence as well.
  • Passion to learn and develop in game analytics and related fields
  • Very good command of English (cooperation with English-speaking teams).
  • Genuine passion for games and their creation as well as knowledge of the latest titles and trends in AAA games.

Nice to have:


  • Background in game design or level design.
  • Experience with Tableau.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Knowledge of R or any other programming language.
  • Experience with GCP or AWS.
  • ETL pipelines creation experience.
