About The Role 

We are looking for a backend-focused Fullstack Engineer responsible for the development of the Connect platform within the CloudBlue solution. Connect is a micro-service SaaS platform operating in the Cloud infrastructure which has API interaction, relational and non-relational databases, message broker exchanges, etc. It has a rich SPA which is used by thousands of businesses and users monthly and an ever-growing ecosystem of extensions with smaller dedicated SPAs.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Primarily building API and services in Python 

• Developing and supporting features from design to production 

• Developing related SPAs in Vue 

• Closely working with engineers in small feature teams 

• Collaborating with the product manager and other CloudBlue teams 

• Working with your team and engineering manager to grow your career 

What You Need 

• 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer 

• Experience in Python with 3+ years of experience 

• Recent 1+ year experience in JS 

• Experience in API development and integration 

• Experience integrating the UI with data from backend API 

• Moderate PostgreSQL and RDBMS knowledge 

• Familiar with Docker & Docker Compose 

• Unit and e2e testing experience 

• Professional working proficiency in English language 

Nice To Have

• Django/DRF & FastAPI experience 

• Recent experience in Vue / React 

• Experience with k8s 

• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP 

• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, monitoring and alerting 

• Open source contribution or a pet project
