Job Title: Junior Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Description: Our company is seeking a dynamic Junior Full Stack Software Engineer with a foundational understanding of both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in computer science, along with some experience in app/UX development, database design, and data analysis. With 4-5 years of experience, this role is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of web applications, learning to integrate front-end and back-end technologies effectively.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of APIs for internal and external use under senior supervision.
  • Support the implementation of Secure DevOps practices to contribute to the security and integrity of applications.
  • Help design and construct databases using MS SQL Server, learning to optimize for performance and scalability.
  • Engage with Azure App Services under guidance to help create, deploy, and manage scalable applications.
  • Support data management tasks using Snowflake’s data warehouse technology.
  • Contribute to ETL process creation and optimization for data integration with oversight from senior team members.
  • Assist in business analysis to help derive actionable insights from business requirements.
  • Collaborate on crafting intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and experiences (UX) for applications.
  • Utilize data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI, to support business decision-making processes.
  • Receive guidance and mentorship from senior developers, contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in full stack development.
  • Familiarity with project work and delivering results in a collaborative environment.
  • Some experience in app/UX development, database design, and API development.
  • Basic understanding of database development, with exposure to MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn Azure App Services.
  • An understanding of Secure DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Analytical skills with an interest in data analysis and visualization, including learning Power BI.
  • Must be able to work during US time zones to support internal business users.
