About the role 

In the Entice tribe, responsible for the insurance buying journeys for commercial customers, you will be working in a squad focused on ensuring potential new, as well as existing customers get correctly insured. You will co-operate tightly with the other developers in our tribe, working with a platform of services that will enable our goal to provide premium digital services for our commercial customers. We’ll need your expertise to make sure that our customers can easily update their insurance coverage, by buying new insurances, and, by viewing, editing, and accepting received quotes for insurances. You will be developing a solution independently that your squad has the complete ownership of. 

About the team 

The squad, called Gators, is responsible for guiding potential and existing customers to become correctly insured. They are responsible for lead nurturing communication, as well as cross-sale guidance in logged in solutions. The squad consists of a Product Owner, a customer activation manager, a customer communication manager, a UX designer, a content manager, a service designer, and two software developers. The Gators are a part of our Entice tribe, with about 50 people in total across the Nordics and Baltics.  In our team we value collaboration and a good work-life balance.

Who are you? 

You are passionate about providing continuous customer value through software development in an agile environment. You don’t shy away from contributing to software development and operations initiatives in our deliveries. You don’t mind coaching colleagues and helping in their professional growth and both your own and your colleague’s competence development makes you smile. 

 
As a developer, you see yourself as a craftsman. You don't only want to get things done but have them done well. You take responsibility for your work and don't cut corners: "the only way to go fast, is to go well". Above all, you understand that we create software to solve real problems and to help people.

You also have: 

• Several years of experience in software development and its methodologies 

• Deep knowledge of .NET ecosystem and its tooling 

• Good understanding of modern web development frameworks. React is preferable but not mandatory. 

• Proficiency of SQL 

• Basic understanding of CI/CD Pipelines 

• Attention to details with a test-driven mindset. 

• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written (Nordic language knowledge is an advantage)
