In Claims Solutions we work with technical solutions that have the power to turn misfortunes into possibilities. We help our customers to rebuild and recover when the unexpected happens. We use technology to provide customer self-service, intelligent claims process and smooth journey to our customers. 

About the Squad

In this squad we develop mission critical claims related data products which serve a large variety of needs across the organization. We have a wide visibility across organization, and we often participate to major development projects. We make sure our solutions are well configured and safe! We value open and honest communication and we’re always ready to help each other. We have a true curiosity towards things happening outside our squad and take pride of our service mindset and quality of our work. We like to think that even though we take our job seriously, we’re still fun and relaxed bunch of people!  Our squad members are located in both Turku and Espoo offices, but no matter the distance, we still make sure we are communicating constantly. 

About the role

You’ll have a peak position to work in the crossroads of our most critical core systems. You will be involved in solution architecture, test automation, solving issues, authentication, taking in new APIs, tweaking existing ones etc. Daily work is more backend heavy. In addition, you will be working closely with other squads and stakeholders. A proactive approach is a must, as well as being an active member in an Agile squad.

Who are you?

You got minimum 3 years of professional experience. The stack you will be working with includes at least C#, .NET, Web API, and Azure. You know how to make seamless deployments with automation. Security, stability and performance are key factors and always under improvement. You also know your way around with third-party integrations, especially with Rest APIs and SOAP.

You feel comfortable communicating with stakeholders and translating business requirements and needs to development items. You have a curious mindset and are open to learning and adopting new things. You enjoy working together with your squad members; you actively share your knowledge and ideas and support others. You’re also not afraid to ask questions!  You have a passion for clean code, and you know how to work in an Agile environment. You communicate fluently with English, and maybe also with one of the Nordic languages.
