Summary
Based at our Seven Hills site, this role reports directly to the FSQ Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring that all goods manufactured within production meets all legislated, customer and company requirements. As a QA Coordinator you will be the providing technical support to production staff and perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs and goals.
In this unique role you will support and influence the manufacturing and operations teams in achieving their quality goals to ensure our products continue to delight our customers whilst u pholding the Kraft Heinz values and working in a way that contributes to the company's vision.
The role on offer is for afternoon shift, however flexibility to work in both day and afternoon shifts is required. Applicants should be willing to work flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and report on potential and actual food safety and quality risks that may arise during daily production.
  • Perform GMP, production line audits and other FSQ audits.
  • Provide technical support to production teams
  • Conduct HACCP reviews, internal audits and QRMP/KHMS/Golden rule performance monitoring activities to schedule and report results
  • Review production records and documentation to ensure positive release of finished products
  • Report any non-conformances of raw materials, packaging and finished product.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Other duties as assigned by the FSQ Lead
  • Relieve the other FSQ team members for leave and other work priorities ( day shift/ afternoon shift)
  • Assist in cleaning and sanitation activities
  • Reviewing CofA's and releasing raw materials
  • Managing retention samples


About you

  • Appropriate experience ideally within an FMCG manufacturing company with minimum of 3 years experience.
  • You will ideally have a tertiary qualification in food science or related discipline an experience in a quality role
  • Strong Computer Skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Environment and multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to resolve problems or improve systems
  • Proactive seeking out opportunities for improvement and development personally and professionally.
  • Flexibility to work in both day and afternoon shifts, early starts during the week and work on weekends as well if required.
  • HACCP Principles & Application - preferred
  • Internal &/or external auditor - preferred
