As a Junior FP&A Analyst at Solera, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial planning and analysis efforts across the Iberia and Latin America regions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with various business units, contributing to strategic decision-making and enhancing overall financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key insights and trends.
Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budget and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
Business Partnering:
Work closely with various business units to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support to drive business performance.
Develop relationships with stakeholders to gather insights and enhance the overall financial planning process.
Financial Modeling:
Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
Analyze various scenarios to evaluate potential impacts on financial outcomes.
Data Management and Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide meaningful insights and support decision-making.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting systems and tools.
Ad-hoc Analysis:
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management to support strategic initiatives and special projects.
Provide insights on industry trends and market conditions affecting financial performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Min. 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field (internships included).
Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with a business partnering approach.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
