Role Mission: At LeagueApps, we’re on a mission to transform youth sports through innovative technology. As FP&A Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving strategic decisions and operational improvements to impact business and financial results. Operating as a trusted partner to executive leadership, you will leverage rigorous data analysis and financial modeling to provide insights and actionable recommendations that align with the company’s mission and growth goals.
You will collaborate across departments—including, Business Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product—managing multiple priorities and fostering relationships to deliver data-driven strategies that empower youth sports organizations nationwide.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and manage robust financial models to support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Partner with business unit leaders to align financial planning with strategic goals and the company’s mission.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, delivering variance analyses and actionable insights.
- Prepare and present clear, concise reports to executive leadership, focusing on key metrics that drive growth and impact.
Business Insights & Decision Support
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business drivers and deliver data-backed recommendations.
- Support key strategic initiatives with ad-hoc financial analyses, ensuring decisions are aligned with the company’s SaaS and sports-focused strategy.
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Optimize FP&A processes, leveraging technology and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Drive adoption of best practices for financial forecasting and reporting.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with teams across, Business Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to align financial insights with operational strategies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members (if applicable), fostering professional growth.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, ideally within SaaS or technology industries.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, NetSuite).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for youth sports and a commitment to the company’s mission of empowering sports organizations through software.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $92,409 - $138,613

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at LeagueApps. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal pay parity relative to other LeagueApps employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at LeagueApps to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
