About this opportunity:

Develops, plans, and coordinates all activities concerning scheduling, blending, storage, and movement of all gasoline, gasoline blend stocks, distillates, heavy oils, and asphalt blend stocks into and out of the Refinery. Utilizes refinery production and purchased blend stocks to produce on-test products in conformance with a shipping schedule and works closely with Production Planner and Production Scheduler to maximize the profitability of blending operations.

What you’ll do:

• Investigate inquiries for production of various grades of gasoline and distillate and determines if the required volume, specifications, and timing can be met

• Develop fuels blending schedule that optimizes the use of blendstocks and meets sales requirements using the Aveva Spiral Scheduling application. Direct gasoline blending operations: Provide blenders with optimized recipes, blend schedules and a review of gasoline blends

• Determine causes of blending deviation, track performance against key performance indicators, and record product quality events

• Generate a daily blending report and schedule to communicate the blending plan to refinery operations

• Maintain and develop tools commensurate with job specific tasks

Who you are:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field

• 1-3 years of experience in Oil & Gas, experience in Refinery Process Engineering and Production Planning/Economics and Scheduling

• 1-3 years refinery process engineer, refinery laboratory, environmental engineer, or production superintendent experience
