In this role you will co-develop and execute credit risk management policy and procedure of Lucid in Europe. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Financial Services, Finance, Sales), and large customers and partners. You will ensure that the credit risk decisions are aligned with the risk appetite of Lucid and remain in balance with achieving commercial objectives. You will also closely collaborate with partner bank and leasing company of Lucid to ensure world class service to Lucid customers.
Responsibilities
- Continuously develop and optimize credit risk policy, procedures and exposure monitoring
- Perform KYC, AML and credit risk analysis and recommend decisions aligned with the policy
- Provide support to Lucid Financial Services and partner bank customers throughout complete FS customer journey online and offline
- Provide ad hoc support in FS Operations department
- Employ commercial and solution-oriented mindset to proactively solve challenges faced by Lucid FS customers
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on credit risk
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-5 years’ experience in automotive financial services or automotive banking industry
- Direct working experience with credit analysis including balance sheet and P&L analysis, ratio calculation and evaluation
- Knowledge of leasing and rental companies’ business model incl. inherent risks and risk flags
- Experience of working with external credit bureaus
- Experience of working customers and sales organization
- Excellent analysis, communication and negotiation skills
- Experience of identification of risk and mitigation strategy
- Knowledge of automotive finance products (loan, leasing)
- Languages: Dutch, English
Preferred:
- Experience with credit analysis of corporate customers from Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland or Norway
- Working knowledge of risk mitigation tools in Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland or Norway
- Languages: additional language skills, esp. , German or French / would be a plus
