Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Specialist to play a key role in supporting financial advisors by delivering sophisticated financial plans and strategic recommendations for high-net-worth clients. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in wealth management who is looking to deepen their impact within a highly collaborative and growing firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine comprehensive financial plans, integrating investment management, tax strategies, estate planning, and insurance solutions
- Serve as a technical resource for advisors, providing insights on complex planning scenarios
- Analyze financial data and run projections to support client recommendations
- Lead client onboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions and accurate financial data collection
- Collaborate with external partners (CPAs, attorneys, and other specialists) to ensure holistic planning strategies
- Stay current on financial regulations, market trends, and best practices to enhance client offerings
- Provide mentorship and training to junior team members as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 4-7+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or investment advisory services
- CFP® designation strongly preferred (or in progress)
- Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and model financial scenarios
- Excellent communication skills to interact with advisors, clients, and internal teams
- High attention to detail and commitment to client service
Compensation
- $90,000 - $120,000 base salary + individual & company performance bonus
