Job Description
Purpose of the role
The CPM Planning Expert supports the implementation and maintenance of all reporting, consolidation, planning activities in the CPM application(s) (e.g. CCH Tagetik). The CPM Planning Expert is expert leading the development of planning applications in Tagetik. The duties include all matters related to CPM users support and management, data collection, data transformation and reporting within the CPM application(s).
Essential responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and enhance CPM Applications master data
- Collect and refine requirements of planning application required for all processes related to financial planning
- Define data integration requirements of planning applications considering the complexity of consolidation requirements and consistency with other information available in the Analytics landscape.
- Design together with FP&A Process owner, create, maintain, and enhance Tagetik standard reporting
- Create data collection templates for actual and planning processes based on Financial Planning Process Owner requirements
- Lead (alternatively with other Performance Management Solutions team members) financial closing and recurring financial planning processes (data collection solutions, users technical support, user trainings)
- Act as Data Quality Controller (building and running consistency checks) for data collected within the CPM applications
- Conceptualize and document existing and future (expected) reporting, planning and consolidation solutions
- Define, build and conduct CPM Users training to best use the CPM application(s)
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business / Economics / IT
- 5-6 years of experience in implementing and managing Tagetik/similar Corporate performance management (CPM) applications or FP&A background with strong interest in business solutions implementation and support
- Experience in Designing planning solutions
- Excellent knowledge of reporting (MS Excel incl VBA and macros) and data integration (incl. SQL)
- Understanding and willingness to develop data architecture and information modelling skills
- Fluent English
- Project management skills
