As a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst - North Europe at Atotech B.V. – a subsidiary of MKS Instruments, you will see yourself as a sparring partner for our business. You proactively engage with your stakeholders and approach your tasks with passion and excellent analytical understanding. You will partner with the Head of Finance North Europe, Business Manager, and Managing Director to play a critical role in driving FP&A and strategic decision-making. In this role, you will report to the Head of Finance - North Europe.
 

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate financial forecasts, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow projections.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Assisting in preparing annual budgets and tracking performance against targets.
  • Supporting the local finance team in month-end reporting.
  • Generating reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and performing ad-hoc analysis for costs, products, etc.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analyses and dashboards for senior management.
  • Partnering with the finance team and central FP&A groups to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
  • Working on corporate projects and initiatives.
  • Diving into financial data to provide additional insights.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
     

Skills You Bring:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Business acumen with the ability to align financial insights with organizational goals.
  • Experience in Dutch accounting and compliance of Holding entities.
  • Critical thinking skills and a high level of comprehension.
  • Willingness to learn and openness to change.
  • 3-5 years of job-related work experience, preferably in a corporate structure.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS/Dutch GAAP).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) along with knowledge of SAP and SAP BW in the best case; SQL, Tableau or other BI tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or ideally a Master's degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
     

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Physical Demand: Need to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 2-4 times a year across Europe is required.
