Location: Barcelona, Spain #LI-Hybride
The TechOps Global Financial Planning & Analysis Team is the central point to manage performance of TechOps (a manufacturing unit of Novartis). The team has the lead for the planning and analysis processes for TechOps Finance across the different levels of the TechOps organization. They are responsible for all processes within the TechOps Finance calendar, including Budgeting, Forecasting and Analyzing Actuals. The team is a close sparring partner to the Division BPA Head & CFO covering operational as well as long term topics. It is truly multinational, global team based out of Barcelona.
We are offering Financial Analyst positions to support the Novartis TechOps FP&A department on a wide range of key processes and projects in areas such as results consolidations, analysis, reconciliations and stake-holders management.
Your responsibilities will also be but are not limited to

Job Description

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

• Support the TechOps finance team in monthly operational reviews and ad-hoc requests

• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data

• Participate in the development and implementation of financial processes and systems, incl. digital projects for automation and simplification

• Provide accurate and relevant business analysis to support decision-making

• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management

• Safeguard milestones achievements in line with the official financial planning timelines

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economy or Econometrics from renowned business school

• Early Career with a first experience, preferable in Pharma or FMCG, but not limited

• English is a must

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and other financial software

• Very strong analytics, detail orientation and ability to deep dive in processes and systems and the ability to communicate their complexity while remaining solution oriented
