Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Analyst II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the financial impacts of new and existing agreements and completing market baskets for new member hospitals. You will leverage your strong analytical skills, data visualization expertise, and healthcare operations knowledge to deliver accurate and timely analysis of large datasets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Preparation:

  • Collect and consolidate data from multiple sources (databases, spreadsheets).

  • Cleanse, preprocess, and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows for efficient data extraction and transformation.

• Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and outliers.

  • Use statistical methods and data mining techniques to uncover insights.

• Data Visualization and Reporting:

  • Create clear and compelling visualizations, dashboards, and reports to present data insights.

  • Use tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib to communicate complex data concepts effectively.

  • Customize visualizations for different stakeholders to support decision-making.

  • Demonstrated experience telling stories through analysis and reporting.

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor KPIs and metrics to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with business units to define performance benchmarks and goals.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement through data analysis.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Provide insights to support strategic initiatives and business projects.

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and interactive sessions.

Work Experience, Education, and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Microsoft Fabric.

• Expert user of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of GPO Operations and Healthcare Supply Chain Operations.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

• Collaborative and able to work well in cross-functional teams.

• Strategic thinker who is customer service oriented.

• Innovative mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
